I know his min RR looks strong pre which is why I didn't RR him. His bet on the flop I thought actually looked weak or a monster, so I called intending to try to steal it away later. When the K came, I wasn't going to try anymore. I was happy to check it down out of position.

Classic risk/reward play. Even with this monster flop he is still only 53% to win. If my hand held I would have had a decent chip lead w/ 8 left. As it turned out, I was knocked out 8th for $360.

During this tourney, it seemed I continually chipped up only to take a bad beat. I also lost JJ vs 88 pre, AJs vs K6s (when a guy called my RR pre for a 3rd of his stack and hit trip 6s), and KK vs A9 pre. All of these were large pots.
